Gro: plant care app

Gro is an app for people who keep houseplants and forget to water them. Users add their plants and set up care reminders for watering, spraying, fertilising, repotting or a custom task.

Each reminder can have a different interval for the growing season and the dormant period, and care tips come from the built-in plant library with photos, search and filters. Photo notes make it easy to track how a plant changes over time. The app uses a dark theme with botanical artwork and gradient buttons.

We built the React Native mobile app for iOS and Android and the Python, Django and PostgreSQL back-end.
