MeetInSafe: secure shared file vaults
MeetInSafe offers secure shared file vaults: any member can lock a safe, and it reopens only when everyone agrees. Built as an iOS app and a web version.
Overview
MeetInSafe is a service of shared vaults for documents and media where the whole group decides on access. A user creates a safe and invites members by email; while the safe is open, everyone can view, download and add files. Any member can lock it with one tap, and it can only be reopened once every member confirms.
The model fits work with sensitive documents: legal teams and their clients, mergers and acquisitions, medical and research data. Uploaded files go through a virus scan and are kept in the cloud rather than on devices, and every safe keeps a timestamped activity history.
The app lists safes with their status, members, tags and favourites, offers search and filters by date and file type, and lets users capture photos, video and audio straight into a safe. The safe details screen shows properties and tags, manages members and sends notifications about the safe.
We built the mobile app in Flutter, the web version in Next.js and React, and the back-end in Nest.js with PostgreSQL.
