Palker: companion for musicians
Palker is a Flutter mobile app for guitarists on iOS and Android: a tuner with on-screen hints, a metronome, a chord library and a left-handed mode.
Overview
Palker is a companion app for musicians under the Palker brand, published on the App Store and Google Play. It brings three core tools together, switched from a bottom navigation bar, plus a user profile.
The tuner shows a fretboard with the Palker headstock and the note of each string: a needle swings towards flat or sharp, with the deviation in cents and a hint to tighten or loosen the string until “Tuned!” appears. It supports standard and alternative tunings for six- and seven-string guitar, bass and ukulele, and has a chromatic mode. The metronome is driven by a circular BPM dial and a time-signature picker. The chord library draws the fingering for the selected chord on guitar or ukulele and offers several voicings.
For left-handed players there is a dedicated left-handed mode that mirrors the interface.
We built the mobile app in Flutter for iOS and Android, along with a Nest.js back-end and a PostgreSQL database for accounts and user data.
