Rockdale: companion for musicians

Rockdale is a pocket assistant for guitarists: a tuner, a metronome and chords in one app for iOS and Android. The interface uses warm cream and orange tones, with a bottom bar leading to the main tools.

The tuner shows a headstock with labelled strings and a needle above it that tells you whether the note is flat or sharp. Settings let you choose the instrument (6- and 7-string guitar, bass, ukulele), standard or alternate tuning, microphone gain and a left-handed mode. The metronome sets the tempo in BPM with buttons or a circular slider, plus the time signature. The chord library shows fingering charts with finger numbers and several voicings per chord.

We built the whole app: the Flutter mobile client, the Nest.js and PostgreSQL back-end, and the screen design and animations.
